January Partner Letter 2020

Dear Partner,

The single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me. Attitude is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, money, circumstances, than failures and success, than what other people think, say, or do. It is more important than appearance, ability, or skill. It will make or break a business, a home, a friendship, an organization. The remarkable thing is I have a choice every day of what my attitude will be. I cannot change my past. I cannot change the actions of others. I cannot change the inevitable. The only thing I can change is attitude. Life is ten percent what happens to me, and ninety percent how I react to it“. (Charles Swindoll)

During this new year, Shekinah Glory prays that you will not be discouraged by the difficulties you may face.   You may have to ‘rearrange or reevaluate’ some things, but remember what Paul wrote to the church in Philippians 1:12,19:

“ I want to report to you, friends, that my imprisonment here has had the opposite of its intended effect. Instead of being squelched, the Message has actually prospered. …because I know how it’s going to turn out. Through your faithful prayers and the generous response of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, everything He wants to do in and through me will be done”.

There are many factors that can influence our lives over which we have no control or choice: one’s background, nationality, age, etc.  But remember, there is one important factor you do choose over all the others: the way that all ‘those things’ affect you – in other words …your attitude.

Thank you for choosing to believe with us in 2019.  We love you so and are so thankful for another year to labor with you in the work of God.  We want to do all we can by the power of God to ‘wake up and stir up’ the Church of God in 2020, for we know it won’t be long until we will all be ‘caught up’!  Glory, Glory!

Until He comes again,

Cindy, Lois and Ray
