Ephesians 1:21 - “...Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”
I once heard the story of a young boy whohad been told by an older man not to believe that the world was round. To prove that the world was flat, he told the young boy to get down on the ground and look at what he saw. As far as the eye could see, of course, the ground was flat, so in his thinking, this proved his point.
If that same man had been an astronaut and had taken a ride around the earth in a space shuttle, he would have seen the earth differently. He would have been convinced that, what looked flat with his nose in the dirt, was definitely round!
If you don’t like the way things look, change the way you’re looking at them! Instead of being “under the circumstances”, take your place In Christ, “far above”. Get a different perspective from a “higher place”!
It has been said that astronaut Jim Irwin always carried a marble in his pocket to remind him to “keep things in perspective”. What looks so big up close can look very different from another vantage point.
Not just for today, but also for tomorrow God has “changed the shape of your world” In Christ.
The power that worked in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ is now at work in the lives of ordinary people all over the world.
There is no place higher than your redemption “In Christ”. There’s nothing higher than the “Most High” !
