Dear Partner,
“God’s love is both a protection and a weapon. It guards us against impatience, against bitterness, against gloating. It is also a very strong weapon in the battle to win souls, for it never gives in”. (Corrie Ten Boom)
All of us have experienced failure and disappointment in life. Someone you trusted may have failed you or you yourself may have failed someone else. Could it be possible to anchor your life to something that will never let you down – never disappoint or fail you? Yes! Just listen to what God’s word says; “Love Never Fails” (1 Cor 13:8a).
You can’t love without forgiving. As Kenneth E Hagin said in his book, “Love – The Way To Victory: …”Love and forgiveness go hand in hand. Love forgives. Without love, you won’t be able to walk in God’s ways because God is love. Even though all the blessings of God have already been provided for you through Jesus Christ, there’s no way you can have faith to receive the blessings of God in your life with unforgiveness in your heart. That’s absolutely the truth! It doesn’t make any difference how spiritual you are or how many gifts of the Spirit operate through you, there are certain qualifications you have to meet if you’re going to enjoy God’s best in this life. Be quick to repent, quick to forgive, and quick to believe God.
Want the good news about unforgiveness? It doesn’t take “special faith” or “great faith” to forgive. Anybody who has even a tiny amount of faith can forgive! Read this from Luke 17:3-10:
“…If you see your friend going wrong, correct him. If he responds, forgive him. Even if it’s personal against you and repeated seven times through the day, and seven times he says, ‘I’m sorry, I won’t do it again,’ forgive him.” The apostles came up and said to the Master, “Give us more faith.” But the Master said, “You don’t need more faith. There is no ‘more’ or ‘less’ in faith. If you have a bare kernel of faith, say the size of a poppy seed, you could say to this sycamore tree, ‘Go jump in the lake,’ and it would do it.
“No, in all these circumstances we may live triumphantly through Christ’s love”. (Rom 8:29). Thank you for serving others together, with the power of His love and forgiveness. Jesus Christ forgave our sins and set us free – that makes His love and forgiveness the last word on the subject. Glory!
Because He first loved us,
