March Newsletter 2015

Dear Partner and friend,

It is glorious seeing the young and the older generation both playing a part in the move of God today!  As the scripture promises …

“In the last days, God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy.  Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit…’” (Acts 2:17)

During our most recent ministry trip, a 23-year-old young man came to the altar for healing – not for healing from physical pain, but for the pain in his heart.  He was gloriously restored, and then was filled with the Holy Spirit – Glory!  The next part is even more wonderful – as he stood in the altar, an elderly saint in the church came up to the young man and asked if he remembered her.  She then recounted that 12 years earlier, as an 11-year-old boy, this young man had come to her door on Halloween night, holding out a sack for candy.  From that day on, this ‘seasoned saint’ had been praying for him, specifically praying that he would come back to God.  He listened to the story, looked at her and slowly nodded his head; “Yes, I remember you”, he said.  Then he told the entire church how he had been called into ministry but had walked away – but no longer!  The next service – he was there again and came in with a smile and a look of hope and freedom that was contagious!  That’s what they used to call…”God putting a hook in you…”!

The wonderful Gospel of Jesus Christ causes us to pass from sickness to health, from slavery to liberty, from darkness to light, and from the lowest degrees of misery to supreme eternal happiness. To those whose hearts and lives are broken because of sin, who see themselves tied and bound with chains to evil habits, who sit in the darkness of guilt and misery, without a friendly hand to lead them in the way in which they should go — the Gospel of Christ is proclaimed. It is the time, in which

“…Jesus is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him.” (Heb 7:25)

Thank you so very much for your generous giving and prayers of faith – what a glorious time to be serving Jesus!

With a grateful heart,
Cindy, Lois & Ray
